Model Information

The Beneteau First 211 is a popular choice for those transitioning from dinghy sailing. It offers great performance and sufficient space for weekend use. While not classified as a true trailer sailer, it is easily towable, providing flexibility in cruising locations.

Interior Layout

The open plan interior includes:

• Good sized V berth double
• Two single quarter berths
• Simple galley with a single burner gas hob and sink
• Porta potti loo stored under the V berth

Hull and Keel

The GRP hull is finished in Yellow gelcoat, but it has been wrapped in Blue by the current owner. It features:

• White non-slip decking
• Heavy ballasted swing keel with a draft of 0.70m to 1.80m
• Complete new keel mechanism including brackets and pads fitted July 2024
• Twin lifting rudders with tiller steering

Engine and Power

Powered by a Yamaha 5hp outboard, last serviced in April 2024. A single 12V battery provides domestic power and is charged via the outboard (charging coil fitted 2018).

Sails

• Slab reefing Mainsail by Crusader (2015) - said to be in very good condition with Lazy Jack bag
• Roller furling Genoa by Crusader (2015) - said to be in very good condition
• Spinnaker - said to be in very good condition
