The Dufour 56 Exclusive is a spacious, comfortable, and luxurious cruising yacht fully equipped for extended voyages. It features wide teak laid decks, a low coach roof, and an electric opening transom that provides access to the bathing platform. The expansive cockpit includes two steering pedestals outfitted with Raymarine electronics and a large cockpit table with an integrated fridge. The transom also has an external galley with a barbecue and sink. From the helm, visibility is excellent, and most sail-handling can be managed from the cockpit with the assistance of electric winches. For relaxation, there are generous sun-lounging spaces. The yacht is equipped with a classic full battened mainsail that falls in a canoe boom and a sail bag, a furling genoa, furling gennaker, and a storm jib. Additionally, it has a 150hp diesel engine, a generator, a Max Prop folding propeller, a retractable bow thruster, and a water maker. Other features include radar, AIS, a life raft, covers, and spare parts.
Below deck, the space is equally impressive. The interior boasts reversible air-conditioning, and the saloon is filled with natural light from numerous skylights and portholes. The dining area comfortably seats 6 people, with an electrically adjustable table that can convert into an extra bed. Forward of the saloon is the galley, which spans the full beam of the Dufour 56. The master cabin features an island berth and has an ensuite head to starboard and a separate shower area to port. Two double bed guest cabins, each with their own ensuite, are located aft. There is also a skipper cabin with a head in the bow, accessible through a deck hatch.
