‘Valhalla’ is a highly sought after 2015 Hanse 455, designed by Judel/Vrolijk. This vessel features solid German construction, offering an exceptional blend of performance, comfort, and modern amenities. It includes 3 cabins and 2 heads, with a spacious owner’s suite forward that has a separate shower and head. The twin aft cabins and generous galley provide ample storage. The salon comfortably seats six for dining or lounging, with all lines led to the twin helms, making it ideal for extended cruising and entertaining at sea.
With over $65,000 USD in upgrades since March 2024, ‘Valhalla’ is equipped for both short-handed and long-distance sailing. The owner's plans have changed, and she is looking for a new home. Take advantage of the current owner's investment in upgrades and take this turn-key Hanse 455 anywhere you can imagine.
Key UpgradesThe self-tacking jib, electric winches, and all lines led aft to the helm ensure effortless handling. Two new Dometic air conditioners (installed July 2024, $14,500) and a new Fusion stereo ($800) enhance onboard comfort. With a powerful rig, recently tuned standing rigging ($600), and a rebuilt sail drive with feathering propeller, ‘Valhalla’ is ready to sail the Caribbean and beyond in style and reliability.
Currently located in Cape Canaveral, but the owner plans to sail her north for the summer. Contact us today for more information, many more recent photos, or to get an offer on the table.

Sails are in excellent condition and a folding propeller was recently added to improve the already great sailing performance. The self-tacking jib combined with the electric, self-tailing winches with all lines led back to the helm makes for easy, short-handed or even single-handed sailing! Setting, hauling in, shortening and trimming the sails can be carried out comfortably and directly from the helmsman position using electric self-tailing winches. Even a cruising spinnaker for exciting downwind performance!
SailsI first met this beauty at Nanny Cay Marina, where she was docked, proudly weathering the storm of life. Hurricane Irma tried to knock her down in 2017, taking out her mast, but she shrugged it off with just a few scratches on her deck and cabin top. No water ingress and did NOT fall over! It actually worked out in her favor as she got a shiny new mast, fresh rigging, and crisp sails, ready to dance across the waves again.
In December 2020, after passing a survey inspection with flying colors, I passed her keys to a spirited gentleman that resided in Carriacou. For four glorious years, he sailed her through the Caribbean’s turquoise playground, from hidden coves to vibrant ports. When he wasn’t aboard, professional management kept her in tip-top shape at her home in Carriacou. When he was ready to part ways, he gave me a call, and in 2024, I helped find her a new captain. That owner took her on an epic journey up the Caribbean chain, soaking up the sun and vibes in the Bahamas.
Now, after a jaunt up the Caribbean chain and soaking up the sun in the Bahamas, not to mention $$$ invested in some thoughtful upgrades to keep her looking and running great, she’s ready to set sail with her next owner. This yacht’s got stories to tell and plenty of wind left to chase. Who’s ready to write her next chapter?
