Sealine is a British and German brand of elegant motor yachts and powerboats that was launched in the 1970s. It has a long legacy of building elegant family cruisers that push the boundaries of innovation. Search for new and used Sealine boats for sale, and narrow down your choices by price, model, age, or location.
In 1972, British aircraft engineer Tom Murrant, along with friends Frank Fish and Ray Walker, decided to build their first boat. After failing to find a model that fulfilled their need for a boat that was equally functional and elegant, they set about designing and building a 23-foot cabin cruiser and founding Fibrasonic Marine Ltd.
In 1978 they built the brand’s first C-Line Weekender, a 22-foot cabin cruiser that was a major milestone in the company’s history and received with huge acclaim. By the 1980s Fibrasonic Marine made the move to building larger motor yachts such as the 30 FLY and 285 Ambassador and at this time changed its name to Sealine. By the 1990s, and with exports to the US proving hugely successful, Sealine was considered one of the UK’s four largest boatbuilders.
In 1998 a $45 million investment boosted the brand even further, and industrialist Gerard Wainwright took the helm. Three years later it was sold to US-based parent company Brunswick Corporation, which allowed the brand to be elevated to the status of luxury motor yacht builder.
The T60, Sealine’s longest model to date, was launched in 2004, and epitomized the brand. It was sporty yet elegant, exuded comfort, family values, and modern design.
In 2014 Sealine came under the ownership of HanseYachts AG, which saw a combination of British design and German engineering mark a new era for the brand. Models such as the S330 from the Sport Series were launched from the Greifswald shipyard in Germany under chief designer Bill Dixon. The F530, a groundbreaking new design incorporating a “fly lounge,” followed in 2016.
Sealine’s boats have won many awards over the years, including the European Power Boat of the Year and Motorboat Awards finalist.
Sealine’s current lineup is the culmination of years of design and adaptation, working off the successes of its previous models. The result is a complete focus on comfort, elegance, space, and performance to create finely tuned luxury motor yachts and powerboats.
The lineup is split into the C Series, S Series, and F Series. The S Series represents the sports line, with its sleek and sporty silhouette, light and airy interiors, and huge deck spaces for entertaining. These include the U-shaped cockpit, the swim platform, and the inside/outside living design. Extensive customization is available with these models, from the interior layout (choose the number of cabins and heads, as well as the styling), to the hull color. The S Series comprises the S335, S335v, S390, and S430.
The convertible C-Line Cruiser Series offers four models including the C335, C335v, C390, and C430. With electric sunroofs, revolutionary large windows, up to two cleverly positioned, spacious cabins, and huge, versatile deck spaces, they are designed for weekend family life.
The Sealine F430 offers superior outdoor living thanks to its comfortable flybridge—one of the largest in its class. It combines German engineering and British design seen in the other models in the current lineup but retains Sealine’s legacy of flybridge innovation.
Previous models, which are well-represented on the used market both in Europe and the US, include the sleek S450, sporty C330, the larger C530 as well as flybridge models, including the F380, F450, and F530.
A sports cruiser offering great performance and spacious family accommodation.
